  Extremely friendly and efficient staff on arrival, very helpful when trying to unload 3 small children and luggage fairly late at night. Staff had left free party rings (the biscuits coated in child-sugar-rush-inducing-icing) with a lovely note wishing us a pleasant stay. However, staff at breakfast at the attached beefeater seemed disinterested, and food below par compared with other premier inns I have stayed at - meats appeared overcooked, and selection of continental style pastries etc. was very poor. On checkout day, despite checkout being by Midday, our keycards stopped working at 11.30am. I approached staff about thus and they stated there was nothing they could do to reverse this, other than leaving the room permanently unlocked and ajar which they duly did. This meant that I had to leave the room unlocked whilst traipsing back and forth to retrieve luggage whilst my wife settled the children in the car. When I asked staff about this they said not to worry as the cleaners were "down there" and nothing would happen to our belongings therefore. I must add that we were still checked out before Midday. What would have been a 5 star review in a chain where people were clearly going above and beyond was unfortunately badly marred by a computer issue and staff who were unable or unwilling to resolve my issue, and breakfast staff who seemed disinterested and sluggish. A shame really.

  Was a nice, clean room. Great location with a retail park and supermarkets easily accessible. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. I could hear the person in the room above me walking around more than I've been able to before but maybe he was just heavy footed. Very friendly reception man and plenty of free parking available, I would be happy to stay there again
